When does a case appear on the yearly HUD 9902?

A case will appear if it meets any of the following conditions:

1. The “date created” for that case is within the fiscal year for which you are running the report.

2. The case is “active” during the period –as defined by HUD

a. any scheduled event in client schedule under Calendar tab (class, counseling apt., etc.)

b. any logged event in client log (excluding ‘Deactivate’)

c.        any work plan activity in the client GPS or standard workplan

3. The “resolution date” for that case is within the fiscal year of the report

4. The case received Education services within that fiscal year:

a. The case was enrolled and marked as having attended a one-day class associated with a valid HUD education category during the period

b. The case was enrolled and marked as having completed a series workshop associated with a valid HUD education category during the period

Please note, after 10/1/2011, you can no longer resolve an education case as “fulfilled” if the case is not enrolled and marked as “attended” in a HUD workshop. You will be prompted to add a valid education record to the case before you can resolve the case to anything except “suspended”.

NOTE: Custom service types will not be included in the 9902 report

NOTE: A client will only appear on the HUD 9902 after you create a case and fill out the Intake form for them

Scenario 1 – Person completes ‘Intake’ and is marked as having attended a HUD designated single-session or series workshop during the fiscal year:
